This week on The Rooted in Love Show, we continue our talk with Stephanie Lee who details her struggle with drug addiction. She talks of raising her kids while being a "functional addict" as well as the problems that came along with that. She talks about waking up each morning craving to "feel good" as well as the physical effects inclusing weight loss. At some point due to an abusive relationship, DFCS was called and became involved with her raising her kids. Having her mom step in to take her kids was a blessing although the new freedom gave her access to do more of what she was doing. We are so thankful for her sharing her journey to soberness.
